Labsphere was one of four 2013 finalists and Judges’ Award winners. The top prize, determined by a combination of popular vote and previous judging by a panel of business and technology experts, was presented to Single Digits of Manchester. Single Digits Open Network Exchange product allows service providers and app creators to connect to large networks of users to create new revenue streams.
Labsphere's Integral light-measurement software met the judging criteria for high-tech products showing exemplary performance, functionality, uniqueness and ability to fulfill unmet market needs, the company said. The High Tech Council's panel of professionals experienced in the development and commercialization of products has presented the award since 2006 to the product that best meets these criteria.
Integral is the photonics industry's first software platform to run on HTML5-enabled browsers, Labsphere said, allowing users in the LED and solid-state lighting industry to manage their light-testing facilities from anywhere in the world and in multiple languages.
Labsphere’s UV-2000S Sunscreen Analyzer was a semifinalist for the award in 2011.
