Otto Schott Research Award now open
Schott is accepting submissions for the 13th Otto Schott Research Award, which grants €25,000 (about $33,000) for outstanding scientific achievement in glass research. The international prize, first awarded in 1991, is given every other year, alternating with the Carl Zeiss Research Award. Candidates must provide evidence of achievement in fundamental research or technology development in the areas of glass and related advanced materials, components or systems for optics, electronics, renewable energy, health and living.
