Company Name Change
In Shanghai, China, Solarfun Power Holdings
Co. Ltd. announced that its board of directors has approved its name change to Hanwha
Solar One. The change reflects the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen
its brand worldwide and its strategic business partnership with Hanwha Chemical,
which owns 49.99 percent of Solarfun. The company manufactures silicon ingots, wafers
and solar photovoltaic cells and modules in China.
