Dilas Reorganizes French Distribution

Dilas, a high-power, high-brightness semiconductor laser components manufacturer, announced the recent reorganization of its distribution channel in France.

Made effective Oct. 1, 2010, all sales and service activities for the company’s diode laser components and modules will now be handled by Rofin-Baasel France. Dilas has partnered with them in the high-power diode laser systems’ business for several years.

Dr. Christian Deverdun, a support of Dilas’ sales activities in France for many years, will join Rofin-Baasel France. There he will bring his experience in the French market to help Dilas secure the continuity of its customer support and its strong relationships with its customers.

Rofin-Baasel France provides laser sources and systems for industrial applications. Its range of lasers and technologies include CO₂ slab, end-pumped, fiber, diode, high-power Q-switched, pulsed YAG, picosecond and femtosecond lasers.
