Society of Nuclear Medicine
The Society of Nuclear Medicine of
Reston, Va., and Bracco Diagnostics Inc. of Princeton, N.J., have inaugurated a
$35,000 fellowship in cardiovascular molecular imaging to foster pilot research
in the development of cardiovascular imaging agents. The funding will enable basic
or clinical scientists to investigate novel imaging agents for diagnosis, treatment
and observation, and for the prevention of disability and death from cardiovascular
diseases.
