National Semi Elects Former Agere Head

John T. Dickson, former president and CEO of Agere Systems, was elected to National Semiconductor Corp.'s board of directors. Dickson is on the board of Mettler-Toledo International Inc. and was previously on the Semiconductor Industry Association board.
