The Rochester Region Photonics Cluster has announced its 2003-2004 officers and directors: chairman, Christopher Cotton, ASE Optics Inc.; president, John Hart, Lumetrics Inc.; secretary, John S. Hurbrand, attorney; treasurer, Len Simon, G-S Plastic Optics Inc. Continuing directors are Christopher Cotton, John Hart, Rick Plympton, Thomas Battley, Kevin Kearney and Wayne Knox. New directors are James Sydor and Christopher Palmer. . . . Semiconductor and electronics manufacturer DALSA Corp., of Waterloo, Ontario, announced that its vice president of finance, Peter Voss, will resign effective May 9. DALSA said Voss has decided to move with his family to New Brunswick. . . . Dan Janson was named senior director of investor relations at Fairchild Semiconductor, succeeding Pete Groth, who was promoted to vice president and treasurer.
