Feb 1, 2002 — NoIR Laser Co. has released polycarbonate laser-protective filters in lightweight styles, including spectacle, fit-over and goggle. The company says the LaserShields are scratch-resistant and unbreakable, and offer high optical densities, excellent visibility and a wide field of vision. High-visibility wideband (730 to 1090 nm) and narrowband (580 to 600 nm) filters are available as well as for 625 to 830 nm.
