OPTICAL VECTOR ANALYZER
Mar 1, 2002 — Available from Luna Technologies is the Optical Vector Analyzer (OVA) 1550, which measures insertion loss, polarization-dependent loss, group delay, polarization mode dispersion and chromatic dispersion. The device uses a laser interferometric technique to provide optical analysis in less than 300 ms/nm. The analyzer can also be used to characterize optical components in dense WDM applications. It measures 17.75 x 15.10 x 7 in. and is available in both rack-mount and benchtop configurations.
