384-well microplates
May 1, 2006 — Porvair Sciences Ltd. has added to its line of low-volume 384-well microplates, which are now offered in black, white or clear polystyrene and are optimized for fluorescence. They provide a maximum liquid capacity of 30 μl per well, and their cone-shaped design reduces liquid loss on well walls and recovers liquid by automated handling systems. The plates are about 0.20 mm thick and are available individually wrapped or in bulk packs in standard, high-bind or tissue-culture-treated formats.
