Omni Design Technologies has announced a lidar receiver subsystem available in FinFET to 28-nm process nodes.
This integrated, multichannel system combines multi-giga-sample analog-to-digital converters, trans-impedance amplifiers, and other signal chain IP to process the return signal from the photodiode to the digital interface within a lidar system-on-chip. It includes a reconfigurable, ultralow-power, low-noise analog receiver frontend that sits between the converters and the off-chip photodiode.
