Reference design kits (RDKs) from Framos GmbH enable faster development cycles in customized camera manufacturing using Sony CMOS sensors.
RDKs help manufacturers implement image sensors into their products by providing the information necessary for integration. The devices act in combination with the sensor manufacturer's evaluation kits, which evaluate the sensor's performance.
Sony's IMX 174 and IMX 249 sensors are supported by the RDK, saving one to three months of engineering effort, answering development questions and minimizing support cycles.
