Protein interaction
The “ProteOn XPR36 Application Guide” from Bio-Rad Laboratories Inc. describes antibody characterization and development using the company’s ProteOn XPR36 protein interaction array system. The six-page downloadable document notes that the 6 × 6 multichannel surface plasmon resonance platform enables automated analysis of up to 36 biomolecular interactions in one experiment and that it provides real-time, label-free kinetic specificity data. It details four protocols that demonstrate the versatility of the system: epitope mapping, hybridoma screening and ranking, kinetic analysis of antibody-antigen specificity and determination of cross-reactivity of antibodies used in multiplex assays. Charts, diagrams and references are provided.
