This application note highlights the capabilities of the witec360 platform for correlative studies of two-dimensional (2D) materials. It explains how combining Raman microscopy with techniques such as photoluminescence and polarization-dependent second-harmonic generation (SHG) can provide detailed insight into the crystallographic orientation of 2D crystals and their optoelectronic properties. Employing different excitation wavelengths excites resonant Raman effects, enabling exciton transition studies. All measurements were performed on a graphene/MoS2/WS2 heterostructure on Si/SiO2 substrate, revealing various accessible properties, including twist angles.
