About the presenter:
Alex Shikany is vice president of Membership and Business Intelligence at the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), where he researches and reports statistics for the global robotics, machine vision, and motion control markets. He also develops market opportunity studies and white papers for the automation industry on key issues such as the impact of robots on employment, and the emergence of collaborative robotics. Shikany is on A3's leadership team, he leads membership and marketing efforts for the association, and he is a frequent speaker at industry events around the world. He is a graduate of Michigan State University's (MSU's) Broad MBA program, where he majored with a concentration in in marketing and finance. He also received a bachelor's degree in business administration from MSU. Shikany has 10 years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, and market research.
