About This Webinar
Exploring the Benefits of Borosilicate Glass in Automotive Lighting
Automotive lighting is advancing at a rapid pace, driven by technologies such as high-power LEDs, adaptive driving beams, and integrated sensor systems. These innovations introduce new challenges in thermal management, durability, and optical precision — areas in which traditional glass materials often reach their limits.

This webinar focuses on the role of BOROFLOAT® 33 borosilicate glass in addressing these challenges. With its distinctive combination of thermal stability, optical clarity, and mechanical strength, BOROFLOAT® 33 has emerged as a key material for next-generation lighting and sensing applications.

Key topics include:

  • Current trends and challenges in automotive lighting and sensor integration.
  • Limitations of conventional glass solutions in meeting performance demands.
  • How BOROFLOAT® 33 borosilicate glass enables applications such as microlens arrays, sensor protection, and lightweight optical components.
  • Considerations for design integration, processing, and long-term reliability.

Gain a deeper understanding of how BOROFLOAT® 33 borosilicate glass supports innovation in modern automotive lighting and why its unique properties make it especially relevant as vehicles become more connected, efficient, and design-driven.
