Jim AndersonJim Anderson is a seasoned professional in the automation industry, with over two decades of experience, the last 15 of which have been focused on machine vision. He has worked in various phases of the application cycle, from an application specialist to a product manager, and now as an end-to-end project delivery expert.

Anderson began his career as an application specialist, where he helped companies leverage 3D technology to solve complex applications. He later transitioned to a product manager role, contributing significantly to bringing imaging-based products to the market, both in the business's machine vision and industrial code reading segments.

In recent years, Anderson's focus has been on the end-to-end project delivery that many customers are seeking in the imaging segment of automation. He has a wealth of experience in vision-guided robotics, with applications ranging from bin picking to navigation.

Anderson is an active member of the A3 and now serves on A3 Vision & Imaging Technology Strategy Board. His expertise in 3D vision has led him to present at various shows and conferences, including the CVP program.
