Ultra-Low Reflectance Structural Black Pigment. Courtesy of ISHIHARA SANGYO KAISHA, LTD.LUSHADE BLACK from ISHIHARA SANGYO KAISHA, LTD. is an ultralow reflectance structural black pigment that absorbs >99.0% of visible light. The pigment suppresses stray light and enhances the appearance of optical devices. Its infrared reflectivity enables the formulation of black coatings that reflect infrared light and help suppress surface temperature rise. The bismuth sulfide black pigment can be used in black coatings for optical lens edges, low-reflectance coatings inside camera modules, and infrared-reflective black coatings for devices such as lidars.
