USB Sensor Interface

The model 2218 by Sensoray is a USB eight-channel sensor interface. Each channel can be independently configured to read voltage, thermocouples, or resistive devices such as thermistors, resistance temperature detectors, and/or strain gauges. The model 2218’s voltage-to-frequency converter is used to increase resolution at lower values. Pulsed voltages to excite resistive devices minimize the sensor heating and there are four wire connections available to all eight channels.
