Spinning Disk Confocal Microscopes

The IXplore™ SpinXL (shown) and the IXplore™ IX85 SpinSR from Evident are spinning disk confocal microscopes for imaging rapid cellular dynamics. IXplore Spin XL has a 26.5-mm field number and imaging speeds up to 498 fps and uses NIR wavelengths for tissue penetration with reduced autofluorescence and crosstalk. The IXplore IX85 SpinSR offers XY resolution down to 120 nm to accelerate 3D superresolution imaging and also uses an image processing filter based on its signal-to-noise ratio, enabling the appropriate processes for live-cell imaging in dim fluorescence conditions.
