IRa-SCOPE from attocube is a nanoscale confocal Raman and IR microspectroscopy analysis tool. The instrument enables nanoscale-resolved optical characterization of organic and inorganic specimens and to analyze a broad range of material properties with maximum sensitivity. It additionally features nano-FTIR and tapping atomic-force microscopy-IR techniques in one instrument. Integrated laser-direct infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy offers easy identification of regions of interest and sample pre-characterization in the same instrument. Using the instrument, smaller low-density polyethylene islands can now be visualized and identified by nano-FTIR absorption spectra with true nanoscale spatial resolution, which are not detectable by Raman spectroscopy.
