Marktech’s 25-µm “Red Dot” RCLEDs are high-efficiency 25-µm diameter resonant cavity light-emitting diodes with peak emission at 650 nm. The RCLEDs are ideal for battery-powered systems, with their enhanced efficiency translating into longer operational life and superior beam clarity. The RCLEDs are available in two robust black surface mount packages — a 2.1 mm × 2.1 mm square SMD and a compact 1.5 mm × 1.6 mm SMD. Applications include red dot scopes and reflex sights, optical alignment and targeting, speed measurement, non-contact thermometers and pyrometers, and camera viewfinders, among others.
