Colorado Video Inc. has introduced its Model 650 Video Inverter, which
allows users to view real-time negative video images. The device
inverts the picture portion of a video signal without affecting the
polarity of the color burst or sync portions. It can also read color
images but needs to be color-balanced to compensate for the large
amount of orange in the film. The Model 650 has a positive/negative
selector and a black level control for the negative mode. A
loop-through input is also provided.
