The Optomec CS 558 system from Optomec integrated with the SINUMERIK ONE from Siemens is a joint solution for laser cladding of high value metal repair in production environments using additive manufacturing. The solution uses directed energy deposition to repair components with mixed materials on various substrates as well as digital native control and digital twin capabilities for speed and path precision when machining freeform surfaces and fluid operation in high load scenarios. The integrated system also features Optomec’s Autoclad® vision software for generating custom toolpaths for individual parts prior to processing.
