The FLEXPOINT MVpulse laser module from Laser Components GmbH delivers output of up to 100 mW and fulfills all the requirements of Class I and II lasers.
An integrated microcontroller provides a continuous wave laser that allows individual pulses to be generated. Electronics ensure that the individual pulses always remain within the laser protection requirements if the input signal fluctuates. Input pulses that are too long can be shortened, and if the pulse sequences are too fast, the controller then forces the necessary pauses. With control electronics, the module provides industrial image processing with bright light, shorter exposure time, more pictures per second, and more data.
The system is operated without extensive protective devices and complies with an eye-safe laser class. Wavelengths of 640, 660, and 780 nm, are available, delivering output powers of 10 to 100 mW at pulse lengths between 15 and 0.38 ms
