Seegnus from Lynred is a MWIR high operating temperature infrared sensor for conducting long-range imaging in tactical gear including UAV gimbals, tactical goggles, armored vehicle sights, remote control weapon sights, and submarine optronic masts. The 7.5-µm pixel pitch sensor uses a 1280 × 1024 SXGA format and can detect individuals at a distance of up to 14.5 km in a 630 m width imaged scene when combined with 220 mm folded compact f/4 COTS optics in favorable conditions. Seegnus features a high cooler reliability of 32,000 hours, a power consumption of <3.5 W, and a 300 cm × 300 cm × 300 cm form factor.
