KYOTO, Japan, Dec. 22, 2025 — Liquid Crystal Polymer Substrate. Courtesy of Murata.ULTICIRC from Murata is an inner cavity structure ultralow-loss liquid crystal polymer flexible substrate that achieves a dielectric constant below 2.0, reducing transmission loss, which is especially useful in 6G applications. With 6G expected to leverage the FR3 band, roughly 7 to 24 GHz, substrates with minimal transmission loss are essential to enable high-speed, high-capacity communications at high frequencies. The substrate is designed to meet the ongoing miniaturization of smartphones and communication equipment. ULTICIRC uses liquid crystal polymer for excellent barrier properties and moisture resistance.
