Laser Safety Mechanism

The DragonDoor from Lasermet is a medical safety door for three-fold protection against laser, x-ray, and fire. The laser blocking material can contain direct and scattered laser radiation. For x-ray shielding, the door has built-in attenuation for facilities using both laser and radiological equipment. When paired with Lasermet’s Interlock Control system, DragonDoor becomes part of a fully interlocked safety environment that can automatically prevent laser operation if the door is open or unsafe conditions are detected. The door can be fitted with the Interlocked Caiman viewing windows, allowing safe visual supervision of laser procedures without compromising safety.
