Hard metal mirror reflectors for 10.6-µm laser applications are available from Laser Research Optics. For use in physically demanding industrial and medical environments where frequent cleaning is necessary, the Series MM metal mirror reflectors provide >98.1% average reflectance at 10.6 µm for a 45° angle of incidence. Featuring an extremely hard surface, they can be used uncoated. The reflectors, available in diameters from 1/4 to 3 in. with thicknesses from 0.08 to 0.375 in., exhibit <1/20 wave flatness at 10.6 µm.
