High Speed Linear Voice Coil Servo Motor. Courtesy of Moticont.The GVCM 032-076-02M from Moticont is a linear voice coil servo motor featuring a 63.5 mm (2.5 in.) stroke and a diameter of 31.8 mm (1.25 in.). It features high accuracy and repeatability when paired with a linear encoder in a servo position loop. The GVCM 032-076-02M can be used in lab, cleanroom, assembly, sorting, and manufacturing applications. It has a high force-to-size ratio of 8.0 N (1.8 lbs.) continuous force and 25.3 N (5.3) of peak force at 10% duty cycle. The internal M2.2X0.45 × 0.20 threaded 0.175 +/- 0.008 mm (0.125 +/- 0.0003 in.) diameter shaft enables a zero-backlash connection to the load. Two M3.5x0.6 × 0.2 threaded mounting holes on 12.7 mm (0.5 in.) bolt circles on each end of the motor allow for easy integration into new and existing applications. The overall length of this compact linear actuator is 152.4 mm (6 in.), and the shaft in the extended position extends 66.7 mm (2.62 in.) beyond the housing. The shaft guided by a plain bushing tolerates a side load up to 2.0 N (7.2 oz.).
