The line of ZnSe laser focusing lenses from Laser Research Optics was created to cut thick diamond plates and other heavy steel fabrications. The lenses come in 1- to 2.5-in. O.D. sizes with focal lengths from 5 to 10 in. in 0.5-in. increments, to match specific steel cutting requirements. Optimized for 10.6 µm and offered in plano-convex and meniscus configurations, the ZnSe laser focusing lenses are suited for 200 W to 4 kW CO2 cutting lasers and come in a standard A/R coating and a Laser Research Optics Cool-Cut™ coating.
