Lithium Triborate LBO Crystal


Lithium Triborate (LBO) is one of the most useful nonlinear optical materials, not just for its relatively large conversion coefficient - 3x that of KDP, but also for its excellent physical properties.

GAMDAN LBO offers:
• Exceptionally low <10ppm/cm fully calibrated absorption @1064nm (3-5x lower than competition), as tested by Photothermal Common-Path Interferometry. (Test results available upon request)
• Excellent Homogeneity
• Custom wavefront distortion adjustment for large apertures (Proprietary process, please inquire)
• Exceptional UV grade super polish for optimal high-power performance, Roughness: <3Å, scratch/dig (S/D) of 0/0
• Laser induced damage threshold (LiDT) of 30J/cm2 @1064nm, 15J/cm2 @532nm, 7J/cm2 @355nm at 10ns, 10Hz on Triband AR (TBAR), 1064/532/355nm coated surface.
• LiDT of >31.8J/cm2 @ 355nm on Single Layer AR (SLAR) coated UV exit surface.
• LiDT of >94.9J/cm2 @ 355nm on super-polished surface
• Size up to 60x60mm2 cross section, or 100mm in length depending on the orientation.
