Homogenizing rods for optical lithography. Photolithography is a process that involves microfabrication of patterned parts of a thin film or bulk substrate. It uses a light source that peaks strongly in the UV, and this spectrum of light is then filtered through the system to help print using the light source itself. The homogenizing rods also use illumination to produce and inspect microchips.
