The MidOpt BP850 Near-Infrared (IR) Bandpass Filter is recommended for use with high-power 830-850nm LED or laser diode lighting to improve contrast in surveillance applications or when inspecting in the IR. The BP850 features high peak transmission and durable, robust coatings, which inhibit staining due to year-round issues with heat, humidity, and/or air quality that affect uncoated IR filters. MidOpt Bandpass Filters have a broad, Gaussian passband to mimic and accommodate the entire output of the most common LED wavelengths, are double-side polished for exceptional parallelism and optical flatness, are anti-reflection (AR) coated to limit glare and minimize reflection loss and have StablEDGE technology to reduce angular dependency and minimize the effects of short-shifting.
