This is a derivative product of our event-based vision camera series, SilkyEvCam®.
It can simultaneously capture both event data and frame data with a single (monocular) camera by using a beam splitter to divide the light and pass it through both event and frame sensors combined in the camera.
Since the images are captured by a single eye, identical images can be captured, eliminating the parallax that is inevitable when cameras are placed in parallel. In addition, data can be synchronized by sending timing signals from the frame sensor side to the event sensor side.
