Quantum is still in its early days, but the technology has been heating up. During the last five years, companies such as Google, IBM, Honeywell, and Microsoft have developed quantum computers, and some now offer cloud quantum computing services. In 2021, the European Union launched the HPCQS project, which is aiming to integrate two quantum simulators with two existing European Tier 0 supercomputers by the end of 2025. Read Article
