LASER World of PHOTONICS Bets Big on Quantum
LASER World of PHOTONICS returns this year to spotlight the latest innovations in photonics systems, components, and applications, with exhibition sectors dedicated to Illumination and Energy, Biophotonics and Medical Engineering, Manufacturing Optics, Quality Control, Laser Manufacturing, and Optoelectronics. The international trade fair will run April 26-29 in Munich and will feature a new component called the World of QUANTUM, which will debut in its own exhibition hall. Highest LIDT for Large Laser Optics

One of the major achievements is a measured laser damage threshold of 0.9 J/cm2 at 42 fs and 805 nm, while maintaining large bandwidth and high wavefront quality. The large IBS broadband mirrors showed no crazing after many vacuum-air cycles.

New Green and Yellow Laser Modules

Besides the already well-known green laser modules from Lasence with the wavelengths 532 nm and 545 nm, new laser modules are now available with wavelengths 520 nm, 555 nm, 561 nm, and 577 nm. These laser modules from the GLM series are offered with output powers up to 1 W, have a fast rise time, and are very reliable. The typical output beam has a diameter of 0.5 mm with divergence ≤40 mrad. With dimensions of just 18 mm x 55 mm (Diameter x Length) they are very compact for this high output power.
