Highly Sensitive Si APD
From: Hamamatsu Corporation
Hamamatsu’s Si avalanche photodiodes feature low bias operation, low terminal capacitance, and enhanced sensitivity in short-wavelength or long-wavelength regions. Unlike PIN photodiodes, Si APDs feature internal signal multiplication functions for higher signal-to-noise ratio, giving you the sensitivity you need for accurate measurement and analysis.
