Vision 2014

Vision 2014 The Vision 2014 machine vision trade fair, held at Landesmesse Stuttgart in Stuttgart, Germany biannually, offers a look at the latest developments and applications in machine vision, as well as advances in traditional processes.

Targeting OEMs and mechanical engineering companies, the event will feature the latest innovations from the world of machine vision systems and components. Among them: application-specific and configurable machine vision systems, smart cameras, vision sensors, illumination, lasers, optics and lens products, optical filters, a variety of scan, line, IR and hyperspectral cameras, contact and low-distance image sensors, optical sensors, frame grabbers and more.

It also provides end users with information for specific machine vision solutions and the opportunity to meet numerous system integrators. Companies and organizations worldwide will be in attendance, including 3D-One of the Netherlands, Active Silicon in England, AIA in Ann Arbor, Mich., Q.VITEC in Germany, Mesure-Systems 3D in France, Carl Zeiss Microscopy in Germany, and many more.

The event is organized by the VDMA Machine Vision Association. It examines not only the latest developments and applications in machine vision, but also focuses on topics such as interfaces, cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

From the sensor to the processor, from the cable to the camera, from the software to the illumination system, and complete machine vision systems, exhibitors will offer a complete spectrum of the future of machine vision technology.

The event will also feature a career center, hosted by Wirth + Partner consultancy firm of Munich, Germany, providing information for engineers and scientists about job opportunities and career advice.

Coaching sessions will be offered, as well, with tips and advice regarding career planning. A top machine vision jobs board will also be featured.

A number of keynote speakers will discuss the latest developments and uses for a wide range of machine vision applications. Topics to be featured include Innovations for Intelligent Traffic Monitoring in Complex Light and Climatic Conditions; Challenges and Requirements for Vision Systems in Micro Manufacturing; and Stereo-Vision for High-Resolution 3-D Imaging.
