Pixel count: X resolution is often expressed as the number of pixels horizontally across the width of an image or display. For example, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) means there are 1920 pixels horizontally and 1080 pixels vertically.

Image clarity: Higher X resolution values indicate finer detail and clarity in the horizontal direction, allowing for sharper images and smoother lines.

Aspect ratio: X resolution, along with Y resolution (vertical resolution), determines the overall aspect ratio of an image or display.
