sequence camera

A type of motion-picture camera in which single frames are photographed either automatically at a predetermined rate (as slow as one frame per minute or hour), or whenever the operator presses a key. It may be equipped to use 35-mm or 70-mm perforated film. The final print is often viewed as a movie, giving a great expansion or compression of time.
