photomicrograph

A photomicrograph is an image taken through a microscope, typically using a camera attached to the microscope's eyepiece or an integrated digital imaging system. It captures the magnified view of objects that are too small to be seen clearly with the naked eye. Photomicrographs are used extensively in scientific research, education, and various fields of microscopy to document and study microscopic structures, cells, tissues, and organisms.

The quality of a photomicrograph depends on factors such as the microscope's optical resolution, the camera's sensitivity, and the lighting techniques used during imaging. These images are valuable for illustrating microscopic details, analyzing cellular structures, and presenting scientific findings in publications and presentations.
