Universities and Research CentersBowling Green State University
Focuses on the study of interaction of light with physical, chemical, and biological systems and the quest for practical application of that basic knowledge in the areas of molecular photonics involving but not limited to molecular switches, optical data storage, solar energy conversion, photocatalytic hydrogen generation, optical power limiting, supramolecular sensors, and organic light-emitting devices. Research facilities at the Center include instrumentation for analysis and characterization, ultrafast spectroscopy, time-resolved single molecule techniques, and device fabrication. The Center also serves to expand the synergy of research, teaching, interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
