Bjerrum screen

In ophthalmic practice, an instrument that determines the boundaries of the field of view. It is composed of a 2-m square of black velvet with a white spot center at which the patient, 1 m away, stares with one eye covered. The oculist, by moving a colored wand toward the square from different directions, can map the field of view.
