Apr 2023MUENSTER, Germany, April 24, 2023 — XIMEA's prototype models from the xiX-camera line are equipped with Sony’s Pregius^™ sensors that easily replace former Sony CCD sensors. The models’ CMOS sensors are present in the resolution range starting from SVGA to 7 MP. The sensors offer a high dynamic range of above 70 dB enabling true bit depth readout up to 12 bit and a pixel size reaching 9 μm. The sensors offered to users are as small as a 26 × 26 × 30-mm footprint and weight of around 30 grams. A quantum efficiency reaching 70% and exposure time of 60 s helps to bridge the gap between CMOS and sCMOS.More products
