The MX081 from XIMEA is an ultraviolet scientific camera meant for applications such as forensics and crime scene analysis, environmental studies, medical research, material and quality control, machine vision, and semiconductor manufacturing among others. Leveraging Sony's IMX487 sensor, the camera has a spectral range extending from 200 to 400 nm, allowing for the detection of subtle variations in UV reflectance and fluorescence and enabling enhanced analysis and visualization of target materials and substances. The MX081 is equipped with a resolution of 8.1 MP, a frame rate of 59 fps, and a 26 mm × 26 mm form factor.
