Infrared imaging systems require simultaneous performance MWIR (midwave, typically 3 to 5 μm) and LWIR (longwave, typically 8 to 12 or 7.5 to 13.5 μm) spectral bands. Our dual-band IR AR coatings achieve measured peak transmission values over 99.5% in both bands. High-performance dual-band AR coatings are applied to a variety of IR materials, large to small, on plano or curved surfaces, with excellent environmental durability and spectral performance.
