InGaAs linear sensor with 1024 x 1 pixels and a pixel size of 12.5 µm square, and 512 x 1 pixels and 25 µm pixel pitch with pixel heights of 250 and 500 µm.
The sensor is sensitive in the standard InGaAs spectral range of 0.9 – 1.7 µm. The pixel operability is > 99% and the quantum efficiency > 70% at 1550 nm. The photodiode arrays are hybridized with a SPI interface CMOS readout integrated circuit (ROIC). With its two outputs, the sensor achieves a pixel rate of 22 MHz. The sensor comes in a 28-lead Kovar metal DIP package with an integrated 1-stage thermoelectric cooler, for a chip operating temperature of -20 °C (higher and lower T also possible).
