The PY Series of mounts provide pitch and yaw motion in a compact platform form factor. The PY-2 is designed for use with our 3010 series fiber holders and 1600 series stages. Siskiyou's axially loaded pivot mechanism provides precise motion and long-term stability once properly positioned.
The PY-4 and PY-6 are designed for heavier and larger applications than the PY-2. Like the PY-2 these larger versions incorporate the same unique pivot design but they have been engineered to hold larger loads to ensure rock-solid load capability even under the most extreme conditions. The PY-6 can be driven with our motorized 420 or 840 series DC servo actuators for even greater position accuracy. The PY-4 is designed to attach to our DT-300, 331 or 100cr stages for increased X, XY or XYZ positioning.
