The Digital Compact Laser from ProPhotonix features an 8-mm diameter enabling digital control and monitoring where space is restricted. Digital functionality allows system designers to provide a higher-performance product enabling output power, pulse duration, and pulse frequency to be adjusted as well as monitoring the laser’s performance.

Available at 520, 635, and 650 nm with output powers from 0.9 to 4 mW, the laser module is available with elliptical beam, line, and cross generating optics with continuous wave or modulation operation. The high-performance laser can be controlled and monitored through a digital RS232 communication interface with increased flexibility and control for precision industrial alignment, patient positioning, particle detection, targeting, 3D measurement, and high-speed automated inspection applications.
